POSITION TITLE: Account/Client Coordinator

POSITION REPORTS TO: Managing Director

A. Position Summary

As our customer service superhero you are the face of UCIT when dealing with the day-to-day needs of our customers. Our unmatched level of customer service has been central to our exceptional growth over the past few years. We are looking to add to our team of customer services professionals. Get ready to put on a hardhat and steel-toed boots and get dirty with the UCIT Online Security team.

B. Key Duties/Responsibilities

Customer Communication

  • Initiate and maintain ongoing communication with key customer contacts to guarantee a high-level of customer service
  • Communicate key findings from monitoring activities
  • Attend relevant industry / client events as needed
  • Build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities and conduct customer mapping of new opportunities for each managed account

Site Preparation, Audits, and Planning

  • Review client contracts, systems and equipment configurations to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
  • Meet with site managers, reviewing equipment locations and putting forth recommendations for changes as needed
  • Assist with the coordination of site installations and changes
  • Assist with creation and updating of site maps
  • Installation and training clients video management software on clients’ computers

Internal Communication

  • Work with Account Executives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Advise team of potential opportunities to drive new business
  • Assist Account Executives and carry out other related duties as required
  • Ensure CRM system (Salesforce) is up-to-date with relevant information

Ad-Hoc Work

  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time

C. Qualifications

1. EDUCATION

Required:

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a business-related field or equivalent experience

2. EXPERIENCE

  • Client facing account management, customer service, or direct sales experience in an entrepreneurial environment is strongly preferred

Key Duties/Responsibilities

Equipment Management/Setup

  • Perform technology needs research and analysis.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory of all computer equipment, peripherals, software licences, etc.
  • Build, Install, test and update computer equipment (computers, servers, peripherals, programs and software)

Network/Site Management

  • Maintain, upgrade and ensure security of network and server infrastructure
  • Develop and manage a mobile and computer security policy
  • Create and adhere to existing backup and disaster recovery plans
  • Plan, implement and support the network and computing infrastructure plan

Office Responsibilities

  • Provide training to internal staff on software programs.
  • Produce technical documentation to agreed quality standards.

Ad-Hoc Work

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. EDUCATION

Required:

  • MCSE or post-secondary diploma/degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

2. EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Several years of directly related experience as an Administrator in a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies.

3. CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Technical expertise in network infrastructure configurations, desktops/laptops, and operating systems, including LINUX, MS-Windows and network systems including CISCO IOS, switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, etc.
  • Knowledge of virtual server environments (VMware)
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000-2005
  • Demonstrated knowledge of setting up remote access for users.
  • Demonstrated ability to administer a 250+ node network including firewalls.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies.
  • Wired and wireless security experience is an asset
  • IP Telephony or VoIP routing experience is an asset
  • Excellent English oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are a must

Position Summary

Not only managing the technical issues in the office but also in the field. Without our trusted computer assembly technicians, we’d be coming apart at the seams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform the setup and testing of video surveillance equipment
  • Assemble computers/building PC’s
  • Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware
  • Input and maintain IP addresses
  • Setup VoIP devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system
  • Provide network accounts and passwords as required
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

  • MCSE or post-secondary diploma/degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 2+ years of directly related experience as an Administrator in a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies.

Position Summary

Our Monitoring Centre IT Technician is responsible for deploying and overseeing the set-up of Company Systems, as well as coordinating activities relating to on-site security events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the deployment and set up of the Company’s systems including but not limited to the positioning of cameras, assigning client logins, updating servers
  • Coordinate activities with installation, service and sales staff to ensure correct monitoring of all sites, including the setup of new sites and updating existing sites, including data updates
  • Work closely with internal resources and third party vendors in resolving hardware/software issues as they pertain to the monitoring center
  • Ensure that all work in the department is performed in accordance with company policies, practices and standards
  • Conduct regular department technical reviews and evaluations
  • Participate in developing appropriate policies and procedures to support the highest quality of monitoring center activities
  • Perform other duties as may be required by management

Qualifications

  • Completion of a post-secondary program in IT
  • 1-2 years of related IT experience in a technical support role
  • Strong organizational skills to set priorities and meet tight deadlines and competing demands
  • Highly detail oriented to ensure that all work performed is of the highest quality and meets all internal and external policy and procedural
  • The ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and to manage specific projects in a detail-oriented manner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to work professionally with all stakeholders.
  • A strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent analytical thinking skills to quickly identify and address potential operational issues and take the appropriate action with external parties
